Using the Info Action

Select the Info action by pressing the "Info" button under the game map. When the Info action is selected, clicking the mouse anywhere on the game map or anywhere else on the game interface will bring up information about the nation, technology, ability, or game feature that you clicked on.

After you've clicked on something while the the Info action is selected, the Info action will automatically be deselected, and replaced with whatever action you previously had selected.

To deselect the Info action without calling up information about any item, just click on the Info button a second time.

•You can use the Info action to get information about any game feature by selecting the Info action and clicking on the part of the game interface corresponding to that feature. A window will appear containing the section of the War of Conquest documentation that describes that feature. For instance, if you use the Info action to get information about the Info action button itself, this very page will appear.

•You can use the Info action to get information about a nation in the map, by selecting the Info action and then clicking on a land area occupied by that nation. Information about the nation will appear in the Nation Info Panel.

•You can use the Info action to get information about any of the orbs on the map (the special objects that give out prize money to the nations that possess them). Select the Info action and then click on the land area that the orb stands in. A page will appear that describes the orb, displays how much prize money that orb has given out, and lists the nations that have received the most prize money from that orb. •You can use the Info action to get information on the technology or ability granted by any special object on the landscape, by selecting the Info action and then clicking on the game map in the land area containing the special object.
