The Technology panel is made up of four subpanels that help you to assess your nation's strengths and weaknesses, and choose which technologies to develop and which technologies and abilities to purchase, so as to make your nation more effective in pursuing its goals.

To open the Technology panel, press the "Technology" button above the panel area on the right side of the game screen.

The Technology Subpanels

At the top of the Technology panels are four button, used to access the Technology panel's four subpanels:

•The Technology Summary panel provides information about the specific qualities that determine your nation's effectiveness, such as its various attribute values, its geographic efficiency and its leadership efficiency. For more information on the Technology Summary panel, click here.

•The Technology Advances panel provides a list of all of the technological advances and special abilities that your nation has achieved. For more information on the Technology Advances panel, click here.

•The Technology Temporary panel provides a list of any temporary abilities or effects that may currently be active for your nation. These most often are the result of technologies or abilities that your nation has purchased. For more information on the Technology Temporary panel, click here.
